The 2004 Transit

These are compiled from some webcam images of the 2004 event. There were problems pointing the scope due to the tiny FOV of the webcam, only 1% of the available field, despite increasing the finder 'scopes magnification. Much was due to the poor quality of the image on the laptop screen. Pointing and focussing were big problems and contacts 1 and 2 were missed. But they were loggesd visually, in some detail, and timed also. The image is compiled from some webcam avi files and the WL timings. No H-alpha webcam images were made due to low contrast screen images. WL contrast on the screen was better - and focus was found.
